Meet our Manager

Tina Schürmann studied communication studies, English and psycology in Essen. After graduating, she moved to the capital where she worked as an intern with a media production company. There she produced television contributions for television channels including ZDF, Vox, Sat.1 and Pro7.

Before and during her studies, Tina Schürmann, who was born in Bielefeld, already worked in editorial departments of various print media and broadcasting companies.

She gained her first experiences in PR-work in the marketing department of the Berlin portal, BerlinOnline. Tina Schürmann soon ventured into self employment and founded schürmann-pr in autumn 2002. Since then she has been succesfully working together with clients from the luxury and lifestyle sector, as well as popular cinema and TV actors.

A public relations agency is only as strong as its people. Our team is committed to their clients, focused on generating excellent results and above all, pride themselves on being fun people to work and do business with.

After a long-standing employment as a designer for visual marketing, Svenja Westerhoff attended a computer and graphic design faculty to complete her specialized knowledge. There, she finished her degree as a marketing, management and coaching consultant. She gained practical experience as a public relations-specialist and event manager for the Kulturverein Rosengarten e.V. as well as with developing PR- and marketing-concepts for different enterprises.
Since March 2010, she has been supporting the team as a public relations assistant.

After completing her university studies in German, literature and history, with a Master in education, Helvi Abs lived and worked for two years in New York. Back in Germany she went on an internship at the Axel-Springer-Verlag publishing house. Helvi has written for the local and tabloid press, ventured into television journalism and managed, most recently, the Berlin head office of a daily newspaper as parliament correspondent.

Yves Hönicke studied history and communication studies in Berlin. After graduating and an intership at schürmann pr, he works as a freelance PR-assistant in the agency.

Meet our Team

After graduating from school in Niedersachsen, Elisa von Hof moved to Osnabrück to study European and International Science and Politics. There she discovered here interests in PR and communications. Since october 2011 she is supporting the schürmann pr team.
